Office Blinds

The office blinds you use are of primary importance when you set up or redecorate an office.  Blinds are one of the first things to come to someone’s attention when they first enter a room because ones attention is drawn to the natural outdoor light that comes into the room.

And office blinds can be even more important than blinds in the home because in the office they help to set the atmosphere for doing business.  You want everything about your office to be as perfect as possible and to exude success so that customers or prospective clients get the feeling your business is also successful, and a great set of office blinds can help you meet that goal.  And if you have a large office where your employees are sharing the same general spaces that you are, then you want them to be comfortable and pleased with their surroundings.
It used to be that all you had to do was make sure your employees could see well enough to perform their job but that was a long time ago.  Times have changed.  Now there are not only OSHA rules and regulations to be met in order to meet minimum requirements but there are tons of studies that have been made that show it is in your best interest to provide the most comfortable working environment you can in order to maximize productivity.  Studies have shown that the more comfortable your employees are while they are working, the more relaxed they can be which not only reduces stress but also helps to cut down on sickness and absenteeism.  So it’s not too hard to see that investing a little more in office blinds now can more than pay for itself in the long run.

There are many styles of office blinds to choose from and they can be made from a wide variety of materials and be in varying colors and patterns giving you a wide range from which to choose.

There are office blinds made with slats that are horizontal as in Venetian blinds and there are also vertical blinds.  These two types both have an advantage in that you can position the slats anywhere from completely closed in order to block out most of the light to completely open to allow not only light but also the warmth of the sun to flow in.  And if the sun is too hot you can tilt the slats open and allow ambient light to come in while preventing direct sunlight from adding heat to your office space.

There are also cellular blinds that are made with material that has a honeycomb design that serves as a form of insulation that keeps the cold out in the winter and keeps the sun’s rays and heat out in the summer.  If you have extreme conditions you can get these office blinds in a double and sometimes triple thickness.  Bear in mind these blinds can also pay dividends by cutting heating and cooling costs.

You should not hesitate to go the extra mile for your customers, clients and employees as it will come back to you eventually and be worth it in the long run.
